Vintage Police Cars
The Seattle Metropolitan Police Museum maintains two fully restored, historically rare police vehicles: a 1967 Plymouth Fury I used by the King County (WA) Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division from 1967-70 and the original 1970 Plymouth Satellite manufactured as a “special order” police vehicle purchased by Seattle Police in 1970. Both vehicles are used as a mobile component for the Museum at a wide variety of community fairs and functions.
They enhance positive interaction with the public while also educating the community about the history of policing, as well as generating interest in restoration and preservation.
